Conference Proceedings

Conference proceedings can be published in a book or as a volume of a journal. As a result, your search for a specific conference proceeding or paper might require the use of several sources described in the previous sections.

If you have information about a specific article, you might start by checking preprint servers to see if it is freely available on the Internet. Otherwise, you should search the Library Catalog for the conference title and if possible limit your search by date.

MathSciNet and IEEE Explore are two quality sources that permit searching for either individual articles or conference titles, and the Full Search option allows you to limit your search by document type.

Your search will be more efficient if you select the document type "Proceedings". In many cases you will see links to full-text in your search results.
