Mathematics Research Tutorial

Research Guides

The Brauer Library has produced research guides for each of the subject areas that it covers. The Mathematics Research Guide describes all of the sources discussed in this tutorial and many more relevant materials.

The guide provides links to reference sources, a variety of subject and publisher databases, and mathematics professional associations. It also lists useful print sources in the Alfred T. Brauer Math/Physics Library: reference books and the indexes and abstracts of early publications not yet incorporated in online databases.

More and more scholarly mathematics work is being made freely available on the Internet. The Mathematics research guide provides access to the most significant and authoritative Internet sources for mathematics articles, journals, and books.

Mathematics Research Guide

If your research is interdisciplinary, one of the guides in a related subject area might be useful: Computer Science, Operations Research, Physics, and Statistics. Please note that these guides contain overlapping content.
