Library of Congress (LC) Call Number
  • The majority of books in the University and Law Library collections, are organized by Library of Congress (LC) call number.
  • You can type all or only part of a call number.

  • You can include punctuation or leave it out. It doesn't matter.

National Library of Medicine (NLM) Call Number
  • The majority of books in the Health Sciences Library are organized by National Library of Medicine (NLM) call number.

  • NLM call numbers start with the letters: QS through QZ and W and WA through WZ.

Government Documents (SuDoc) Call Number
  • The Davis Library's collection of U.S. Federal documents are organized by SuDoc call number, a number assigned by the U.S. Superintendent of Documents.
