A few major resources, while not providing full text
content to articles and books, provide a means of identifying relevant sources.
INSPEC
is a core database in many of the science fields.
INSPEC is the world's largest bibliographic database for the fields of physics,
electrical engineering and electronics, computers and control engineering,
and information technology. Many of the journals and articles indexed are
also directly related to astronomy. At the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
we have access to INSPEC through ISI's Web of Knowledge. If this will be your
first time using INSPEC, you may find ISI's help section on INSPEC's front page helpful in getting started.

You should also take the time to view
ISI Web of Science. Including Science
Citation Index Expanded, the ISI Citation Databases provide cited reference
searching of the scholarly literature in many disciplines.
ISI has a great help page to aid new users in searching.
