Accessing the Article Text
How Do I Find an Article if it is not Full-text?
The E-Journal Finder is a useful tool for viewing articles when you already have a citation or if the database you are searching in does not have the full text of an article. UNC Libraries may have the article in electronic form through another subscription, index, or database. Similar to a search for databases, you can look for journals By Title or By Subject. However, users should be aware that the By Subject option may result in only a few of the many relevant journals.
From the library homepage, you will see a link for the E-Journal Finder. From this page, you can enter the journal title into the search box to see if there are other databases with subscriptions. If you get results, be sure that the libraries’ holdings match the date your article was published.
