Like many academic library systems, UNC maintains
a number of different libraries and collections.
Because of its size and the breadth of
its collections,
Davis Library is often considered the main
UNC library. Davis Library houses the main humanities and social sciences collections, as well as the major campus
holdings of government documents and microforms. It also includes the main reference, electronic information, and
interlibrary borrowing services for the campus.
Other libraries you might find useful during your research process include:
- House Undergraduate Library, which maintains the print reserves collection and the Media Resources Collection
- Health Sciences Library
- Odum Institute Data Library, which maintains the country's third-largest archive of computer-readable social science data and provides consultation in research design
