While the search strategies we discussed in the previous section will help you find relevant results, you also need to be sure to search in the appropriate place. For example, if you wish to find books in the UNC Library system, you would want to use the Library Catalog. Common searches in the catalog include keyword, author, and title searches. In addition to books, you can also search for journal and magazine titles, but you cannot search for the articles themselves. In order to search for articles, you would need to use an article database, discussed later in this section.
