Web Site Redesign Guide
We hope you will enjoy our newly redesigned Web page. We started this project a few months ago by conducting surveys of and focus groups with our users to see where the page could be improved. Our redesign tries to address many of the issues reported.
We've made our graphics a bit larger. Most images are icons rather than photos, and where photos are used, they are larger and (hopefully) more recognizable. We've removed most duplication of links and consolidated a few things in order to make items on the page easier to find. Finally, we have given our tabbed search widget a makeover, bringing in additional E-Journal Finder features and adding our Google Scholar search box.
Additionally, the beta catalog we debuted a few weeks ago is now our main catalog. However, you can still use the previous version of the catalog by following links to the Classic Catalog.
If you were familiar with our previous page and cannot find something on the new page, please use the image map below. You can hover over links you used previously to read short descriptions of the changes. You can also click to see any item's location on the new page.
If you are stumped, please feel free to contact us!
