Special Libraries in France

If you're studying in Paris or another major city, be sure to visit cultural and educational centers, or ask a local librarian, to learn where there are special libraries that meet your interests. The library page maintained by France's Ministry of Culture may also help. They may be located in small shopfront centers, old churches, or art museums...think of them as hidden treasures! You may also be surprised at what you can find in smaller towns. French villages have millennia of history, humanity, and art behind them, and they often store documents or artefacts in small local libraries or museums.
