CIA World Factbook provides online country profiles that are updated every two weeks. Each profile includes basic information about a country's population, geography, government, economy, and transportation. Find information about Mexico in the online profile.
EIU Country Profiles are published annually by the Economist Intelligence Unit. The EIU Country Profile Mexico focuses mainly on economic and political information. EIU also
publishes EIU Country Report Mexico, a monthly update on Mexico. Because this searchable database is a subscription service, access
is limited to UNC-Chapel Hill students, faculty, and staff.
The Library of Congress Portals to the World provides lists of links containing information about countries' education, politics, recreation, culture, etc., prepared by Library of Congress subject-area
experts.
The U.S. Department of State maintains current information (called Background Notes) on every
country in which the U.S. has an embassy. Background Note: Mexico contains information about
the security, demographics, politics, and history of Mexico. Travel information is also included.
LANIC, the Latin American Network Information Center at the University of Texas at Austin has created an extensive
list of resources on Mexico.
