Journal Search
If you have a citation to an article from another source, you can check to see if the libraries have the article in either print or electronic format by searching the catalog on the UNC Libraries' homepage.
In the search box, type the full title of the journal and use the drop-down menu to limit your search to "in Journal Title." On the search results screen, you will see separate records for both the print and the electronic formats of the journal if the library has both. The print journal will have [serial] after the title, and the electronic journal will have [electronic resource] after the title and electronic journal will also say Electronic journal next to Format.
You can access the electronic journal by clicking the link that says Full text available via the UNC-Chapel Hill Libraries. If the journal is only available in print, you will need to note the library location and the journal's call number (if applicable) to locate the journal.
If you searched the E-Journal Finder page for a journal but do not find it there, be sure to also check the catalog to see if the journal is available in print. The catalog will indicate if the University Libraries subscribe to the print edition of the journal; note the library location and the journal's call number (if applicable) to locate the journal.
*Note: A dash with no date following means that the journal is currently received.
