Subject Headings

As mentioned on the previous page, the subject headings for books dealing with movies begin with Motion pictures.

Cataog Record

Since searching by subject heading can be tricky, we recommend the following search strategy:

  1. Perform a search by entering the terms that describe your subject;
  2. Look at the catalog record and click on the Description tab to see what subject headings are used;
  3. Revise your search using the terms in the subject field or click on the linked subject heading.
