Position: Graduate Student Research Assistant, University Library Assessment
Available: January 2013

A University Library Assessment TRA (graduate student research assistant) position is available for the spring 2013 semester. This position is 15 hours/ week (Monday - Friday) with a monthly salary of $843.75 and the position may be eligible for graduate student health insurance and additional benefits.

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following skills and experience:

• Experience using Qualtrics and Excel.
• Experience developing surveys and/or other assessment tools.
• Experience conducting interviews or focus groups.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Provides administrative support to the Library's Coordinator of Assessment and the AUL for Collections and Services.
• With Coordinator of Assessment, provides support to library staff groups conducting assessment.
• Helps compile and analyze quantitative and qualitative data.
• Helps draft and edit assessment reports.
• Helps develop training documents.
• Maintains, edits, and contributes to assessment and strategic planning websites.
