What's happened to the Chemistry Library?
Because of the demolition of Venable Hall, the Chemistry Library has moved to the south entrance of Louis Round Wilson Library on South Road, facing the Bell Tower, joining the Zoology Library in the same space.

How long will the Chemistry Library be in its new location?
The Chemistry Library will be in Wilson Library until the completion of the new Venable building, which is expected to be ready for occupancy in 2010.

What will be different?
Certain policies will be affected by the move:

• The library hours have changed; because this is a new situation for many of our patrons, we will assess this schedule at the end of the semester and adjust it if necessary.
• To enhance the use of the collection, Chemistry Library journals may be checked out for two hours if patrons would prefer to use their own photocopiers.
• To standardize library privileges and help ensure access to the collection for all our patrons, overdue fines will be charged to all borrowers.
