President's Message
Dear Members,
It's a great year to be a member of LAUNC-CH!
One of our association's primary objectives is to provide members with opportunities for professional growth and development. A library administrator shared with me recently that tight budget years are not the time to cut back on professional development. This is very wise. By sharing our experiences, ideas, and tools, we can build upon each other's successes, learn from failures, and ultimately find efficiencies and provide better services. Never are efficiencies needed more than during tight budget years. Never are our patrons in greater need of quality services than when so many services they rely on are being streamlined, consolidated or simply cut.
I hope you will be able to take advantage of the excellent professional development opportunities LAUNC-CH provides you this year.
