Digital Dilemmas: The Politics of Information in an Information Age
March 19, 2001
William and Ida Friday Continuing Education Center, Chapel Hill, NC

New and emerging technologies make information more widely accessible than ever before. They also bring focus to a number of increasingly urgent issues. Who controls information and access to it? What are the consequences of these arrangements? How can the library profession respond? These are some of the themes brought together in this year's annual LAUNC-Chapel Hill Conference entitled "Digital Dilemmas: The Politics of Information in an Information Age."
