There are 99 members currently registered for this year. Two are honorary members. Anita reminded the Board to specify what is being copied when charging duplication so that she can accurately track expenditures. The Treasurer's report is appended to the Secretary's copy of the minutes. Anita prepared a report that summarizes the income and expenses of the organization of the past five years. This report is appended to the Secretary's copy of the minutes.

Committee Reports

Conference Committee: Lynn reported, in the absence of Peggy, that they key note and closing speakers have been firmly committed. The Committee needs to find replacement speakers for a couple of sessions. They hope to have the brochure out by the end of the month.

Newsletter Editor: Lynn reminded everyone that the deadline for the next Newsletter is January 29. The Web page is ready to go. She will add the amended bylaws to it. Lynn asked if a list of LAUNC-CH members should be added to the web page. It was felt that members should have the option of not having their name listed on the web page. Lynn will include a form in the next Newsletter that will allow members to have their name withheld from being published on the web page.

Professional Development Committee: Hsi-Chu was not present. It was reported that Page Life and an unnamed SILS graduate student will be the speakers at the Research Forum.

Professional Welfare Committee: The Committee has not met recently due to bad weather and sickness. Libby will discuss with Tom Nixon the best mechanism to distribute information now that she is no longer on the Employee Forum.

Program Committee: Frieda was not present.

The next meeting will be on February 13, at the Law Library Conference Room.
