2003 SOUTHERN STUDIES RESEARCH STIPEND RECIPIENTS

The Manuscripts Department of the Academic Affairs Library at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2003 Southern Studies Research Stipends. This marks the third year that the Manuscripts Department has offered stipends to individuals who plan to use its collections for a major research project, including dissertations, theses, articles, and monographs.

The 2003 Southern Studies Research Stipend recipients are:
