           Alabama.
               The contract (6 p.) and specifications (13 p.) for
           the construction of the Alabama, agreed upon between John
           Laird Sons and Co., shipbuilders of Birkenhead, England,
           and Confederate naval agent, James Dunwody Bullock (1823-
           1901).
