Thomas Wingate Andrews (1882-1937) was a school superintendent, 1908-1937, in Orange County, Reidsville, Salisbury, and High Point, N.C.; an official in various religious and state and national educational organizations including the North Carolina State Text-Book Commission, North Carolina Education Commission, and the National Education Association; and an author on religious and educational themes. Andrews was born in Orange County, N.C., and was educated at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
