Scope and Content
The collection consists of a small diary belonging to D.C. Cameron. The diary contains brief notes of daily events from 1 January 1944 to 15 January 1945. These include descriptions of the weather, notes on quantities and prices of milk and other items sold or bought, activities undertaken on the farm and at the home of Mrs. J. Reid Healy, possibly a neighbor. Also included are occasional references of travel to Carthage, N.C., Aberdeen, N.C., and Clinton, N.C.
