| Abstract | The Chapel Hill Council of Churches was an interdenominational organization established in Chapel Hill, N.C., in 1947. The collection includes records and a brief history of the Chapel Hill Council of Churches. Records include several drafts of a constitution; correspondence; minutes for some years; reports of activities and projects, such as overseas relief drives, vacation Bible School, Christian Education Institutes, radio and film offerings, cooperative religious services, and mission study programs; and financial records. The history was written in 1960 by Mary Jane (Mrs. Robert W.) Mann, and is accompanied by letters written to her while she was writing it. |
