The collection includes pictures, biographical and genealogical clippings and writings, and family data relating to Baron Christoph von Graffenried and his family and descendants in Switzerland and America. One original item is a letter, 1735, from the Baron to his son about genealogy. There is also a rare booklet, 1777, Neuer Schreib-Calender auf das Jahre Christi listing the names of public officials, some from the de Graffenried family.
