The collection includes land indentures of Abraham Enloe in Rutherford County, N.C.; a promissory note of Julius Logan; a blank United States oath of office form, 1862; and a transcription of a 1966 letter from Marvin Lee Ritch of Charlotte, N.C., to Sam A. Wilkins, Jr., arguing that Abraham Enloe fathered Abraham Lincoln out of wedlock.
