Massachusetts, living with her husband, William Fisher (1788-1878), and her
children in an isolated area in Camden County, Ga., near the Florida
border. The diary contains comments on conditions and incidents of daily
life, family and neighborhood news, personal thoughts, and reports of
military activity in the region.
