Information
Sarah Susan Gay (1850-1918) of Northampton County, N.C., was the daughter of Jeremiah Carter Gay and Adelia Frances (Stancell) Gay. She married Israel Putnam Parker (1851-1904) and had three sons, Carl Putnam Parker, Raymond Gay Parker, and Walter Lafayette Parker. She was also related to Bejamin Stancell Gay (brother), Greene Frederick Stancell and Derusha Peebles Stancell (maternal grandparents), and Rosalie Stancell and Alice Stancell (aunts).
