Green Hill (1741-1826) was a North Carolina statesman and patriot, planter, soldier, and Methodist minister, who settled in Tennessee in 1799.

The collection is an undated speech given in Williamston County, Tenn., probably by Walter Stokes, on the life and works of Green Hill, and photocopies of vital statistics, 1714-1827, of the family of Green Hill from the family Bible owned by Laura Burr Ferguson.
