Abstract:      Papers of Felix Johnson, Stewart's Creek Township,
           Surry County, N.C., consisting of Kimbro Thompson's
           letter of transfer, 1848, from Mt. Airy Baptist
           Church, signed by Johnson as clerk, and two warrants
           for slaves sentenced to be whipped for stealing, 1862,
           sentence executed and recorded by Johnson as
           constable.
