(now West Virginia), to his father Abraham Huyett, concerning family news and finances and mentioning Thomas Jones; and one letter, 28 August 1857, from Jones's uncle, Jacob Williamson, in Salene County, Mo., to Jones and others concerning western lands and conditions.

Thomas Jones (1817-1879) of Clarke County, Va., was the son of Matthew Harrison Jones (1785-1859) and Elizabeth Williamson Jones. He married Mary Jane Huyett in 1840.
