Series 1. Papers, 1750-1925.
Arrangement: chronological.
Grants, deeds, indentures, plats, bills of sale for slaves, wills, amnesty oaths, marriage contracts, bills, bank shares, etc. The only letters are a few 1871 letters about a claim in court and two letters in 1911 to Annie Justice about family history. Also included are the will of James Cicero Justice, 1897, and a few business papers of the Justice heirs.
There is one folder of genealogy and notes on family history of the Justice, Sparrow, Green, Tillman families. There are also some early family records of these families.
