| Abstract | The Keister family of Greensboro, N.C., included Dr. Albert S. Keister, an economics professor beginning at the Woman's College of the University of North Carolina, which later became the University of North Carolina at Greensboro; his wife; and his six daughters, including Alice Virginia Keister, who received a Bachelor's degree in history from the Woman's College in 1948, and Dr. Mary Elizabeth Keister, who apparently worked as a teacher in India and was also involved in research in early childhood education. The collection consists of three photograph albums of the Keister family, 1920s-1960s, that document family, friends, and Dr. Mary Elizabeth Keister in India, including photographs of Mary with Dr. Rajendra Prasad and Dr. S.
