Scope and Content
This collection consists primarily of letters to Frank Kell (fl. 1882-1894) while a sawmill owner in Northampton County, N.C. The letters are primarily from businesses making supply orders and payments. The majority of the supply orders relate to mill equipment. Kell was also superintendent of the Gumsberry and Jackson Railroad Company, 1892. Kell received a large portion of his supplies from Richmond, Va.
