Institutions represented include the University of Alabama, the University of Georgia, Davidson College, South Carolina College, the University of Tenneseee, and the Texas Military Institute. Persons and organizations represented include Henry Harrisse, Horace Mann, Henry Barnard, Joseph Lancaster, the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel, and Dr. Thomas Bray's Associates.
