Abstract Volumes consisting chiefly of rules and exercises for the study of mathematics, surveying, navigation, and bookkeeping, but
also containing a variety of miscellaneous memoranda by Hugh Leach, members of McPherson family, and other individuals in
Moore County, N.C. Also included are a ledger of accounts, 1802, of William Parker, a London trader; an undated journal by
Hugh MacPherson, mate, of a voyage on the Hamilton of London from London to Madeira; and the log of a voyage from Greenock, Scotland, to Wilmington, N.C., in 1803.
