The Little River Primitive Baptist Association included Primitive Baptist churches in Johnston, Harnett, Cumberland, and Wake counties in North Carolina. Throughout the early decades of the 20th century, new churches became members and member churches disappeared from the record. The total number of membership churches, however, remained in the low twenties. In 1926, membership dropped to nine churches, and this number remained fairly constant until the 1960s, when membership declined to five churches. In 1992, there were two active churches. The Little River Primitive Baptist Association held its annual meetings for three days in late September or early October, and the location rotated among the member churches.

Three volumes of records relating to annual meetings, 1907-1992, of the Little River Primitive Baptist Association, an association of Primitive Baptist churches in North Carolina. The records for each year contain minutes of the proceedings, the names and locations of member churches, the names and addresses of ministers, a list of messengers for each church, a list of quarterly meetings, resolutions, and statistics on the number of baptisms, deaths, membership totals, and people received into or excluded from each church.
