Information
Albert Moses Luria (1843-1862) was a lieutenant in Company I, 23rd North Carolina Infantry Regiment, Confederate States of America. Luria was born in Charleston, S.C., and spent his youth in Columbus, Ga. He was the son of Raphael J. Moses and changed his name from Albert Luria Moses to Albert Moses Luria.

The collection is a typed transcription of the diary of Albert Moses Luria while he was serving as a lieutenant in the 23rd North Carolina Infantry Regiment, Confederate States of America, 19 August 1861-13 February 1862.
