Extracts (22 pages) from the oration at the funeral of Macwhorter, Presbyterian minister active as a trustee of the College of New Jersey (later Princeton University) and in North Carolina and South Carolina; a pastoral letter, 1766, of Elihu Spencer (1721-1784), moderator of the Presbyterian Church of New York, containing a religious interpretation of the relations of France, England, and the colonies; and minutes, 1764, of the New Jersey synod sending Macwhorter and Spencer on a southern mission.
