The collection is an account book, 1883-1885, of Markham, listing accounts with wholesalers and merchants and showing a chronological record of firm names and amounts. The book also contains bills, 1883, posted in the volume, for materials purchased from Markham by wholesalers, local merchants, and commission merchants in Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York, and Norfolk, and chronological listings of accounts, 1883-1885 and undated.
