Alfred Mordecai, physician of Winston-Salem, N.C., who served with the United States Army Medical Corps, 1918-1944, and as a health officer in Forsyth and Wilkes counties, N.C., 1940s-1960s. His wife was Elsie Elizabeth Hess.
