Two-volume diary of William Sidney Mullins while he was a student at the University of North Carolina, giving detailed accounts of the college, curriculum, dining places, companions, entertainment, and other features of college life. Volume 1 includes entries from 31 October 1840 to 15 March 1841; Volume 2 includes entries from 1 June 1841 to 30 October 1841. A typed transcript of the diary is included in three sections, totalling 322 pages.
