The collection includes two letters from Mehetable Mumford to John R. Parker, editor of the Euterpeiad, a magazine published in Boston, Mass., which included sheet music, concerning the nature of the magazine and Mumford's endeavor to find subscribers amongst ladies of Salisbury and Fayetteville, N.C. with whom she was acquainted.
