Abstract:      Leon Oettinger, tobacco warehouse owner of
           Douglas, Ga., in the 1940s, and his wife, Amy
           Montgomery Oettinger, who wrote about warehousing and
           selling tobacco.
               Six photographs relating to the tobacco industry
           in Douglas, Ga., including several of the warehouse
           owned by Leon Oettinger and of unidentified
           townspeople.  Also included is a carbon copy of a
           nine-page typed article, written in 1941 by Amy
           Montgomery Oettinger, about the selling of the 1940
           tobacco crop.
