Abstract
Wyatt Outlaw was appointed deputy member representing Alamance County, N.C., of the Grand State Council of the Union League of America in 1867. He was later hanged by the Ku Klux Klan.
The collection is a facsimile of the Wyatt Outlaw's commission as deputy member representing Alamance County, N.C., to the Grand State Council of the Union League of America. The commission was signed by W.W. Holden, governor of North Carolina, 1865 and 1868-1871.
