The Pleasant Union Christian Church was located between Lillington and Angier, in Harnett County, N.C. The church was part of a denomination known as the Christian Church that later merged wtih the Congregational Church to form the Congregational-Christian Church. The original building was destroyed by fire in March 1930.

The collection includes a typed copy (142 p.) of the records of Pleasant Union Christian Church including minutes of regular congregational meetings, lists of members, accounts of conversions and moral infractions, and other information.
