Abstract:      Paul Ramsey, poet and professor of English at the
           University of Tennessee, Chattanooga; graduate of the
           University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (B.A. and
           M.A.); Ph.D., University of Minnesota.
               Papers of Paul Ramsey, 1950-1994, including
           extensive correspondence, drafts of poetry, and other
           writings. Also included is a large group of notes from
           research conducted as a professor of English at the
           University of Tennessee, Chattanooga.

Processing Note:  While the bulk of the papers are foldered, they
                  need to be screened for duplicates,
                  publications, and student records.  Audio media
                  need to be separated.
