Scope and Content
The collection includes Charles Alphonso Smith's manuscript writings and lectures on various topics as well as clippings taken from North American Review, The Bookman, Literary Digest, and other publications concerning O. Henry and Mark Twain. Also included are two leaves identified as being in the hand of O. Henry. One is headed "43" and begins, "repeated the conversation to them both."; the other is identified as a page from "Lo."
