Arthur Styron (1890-1958) was an Episcopal minister and author of Wilmington, N.C. Styron attended the University of North Carolina, 1911-1912.

The collection includes unpublished plays, short stories, and nonfiction writings by Arthur Styron, including a book about Spain and a biography of Alexander von Humboldt (1769-1859); legal papers of an Ulster County, N.Y., family; collected autographs of congressmen; and other historical items.
