A letter, 24 April 1833, from Solomon Lea of Chapel Hill, N.C., to Sarah Williams Kittrell at Greensboro, Ala.; two letters, 8 November 1895 and 11 April 1896, from Kemp P. Battle of Chapel Hill to Sarah Goree of Midway, Tex.; a notice, 1899, of a family gathering at the home of Goree; and an article, "The Huntsville, Texas, Yellow Fever Epidemic of 1867," written in 1967, which includes information on the Nolley, Kittrell, Goree, and Thomason families.
