Battle of Chapel Hill to Sarah Goree of Midway, Tex.; a notice, 1899, of a family gathering at the home of Goree; and an article, The Huntsville, Texas, Yellow Fever Epidemic of 1867, written in 1967, which includes information on the Nolley, Kittrell, Goree, and Thomason families. The letters from Chapel Hill concern personal, family, and community matters, and relate as well, news of the University of North Carolina.
