Other papers include correspondence while Thompson was living in New Orleans; accounts, 1866-1867, of the Southern Hospital Association of New Orleans; two speeches during the secession crisis while he was mayor of St. Joseph, Mo.; and other items, including newspaper articles on the Pony Express. |
