Diary, 20 May 1864-4 January 1865, of Watson, a Confederate soldier in the 53rd Tennessee Regiment, who served with the Army
of Tennessee and was taken prisoner in the Nashville campaign. Daily entries discuss his actions and his observations on weather,
casualties, movements, leaders, other units, preaching, and other matters.
